Resources

Cost of Teaching:

a single beginner violin costs around $20 per month to rent

With 5 Students

Alex will have to pay $100 per month

Additionally, she will need to pay for the bows, music stands, and rosin.

Alex's Hurdles

The Venue

Considering the current state of the pandemic, if students are fully vaccinated, then an in-person camp is possible, so a local community center would work great. If the students aren't vaccinated, then Alex should consider hosting a virtual summer camp or private lessons.

Curriculum, Marketing, & Website

On top of the venue and the assets, Alex needs to develop the marketing material, digital interaction platforms, and the curriculum for her music summer camp.

How is Alex going to pay for the equipment, find the venue, build the curriculum, create the marketing, and develop the website while school is going on?

How We can Help

Music School Process_edited.png

What We Provide

Uncovering the Vision

After submitting her application, Alex will receive a message either to plan the first partnership meeting soon or a message explaining the aspects of the idea to reconsider.

We want to ensure that we demonstrate our values at Baig Foundation through a constructive atmosphere inside and outside of the organization.

Creating Plan of Action

After uncovering the vision, we will discuss the motivation for the music camp, then we will create a

personalized suite of Baig Foundation services

that will accelerate the development of the idea and amplify its impact.

Searching Our Catalogue of Venues

Then, in order to tackle the location hurdle, we would search through the Baig Foundation's catalogue of venues, to find the perfect fit for a music camp. A great fit for Alex’s music camp would be The Salvation Army Bellevue Community Center, because they have a large flex room that is great for music lessons and can be used for physically distanced learning in case students are not vaccinated.

Using NPO Network

With Alex’s music camp we determined the necessary services based on the hurdles that Alex had encountered above.

Using Baig Foundation’s network of charitable and non-profit organizations we would search for available violins and other necessary equipment to lend to students for free.

Developing Marketing & Digital Hub

To tackle the last hurdle of developing marketing material and digital interaction platforms, after the second partnership meeting, Baig Foundation will create a unique set of marketing material with researched human-centered design strategies in mind along with a website developed to share  to act as the hub for Alex's Music Camp.

Keep in mind, this is just a single way to use Baig Foundation's platform. No matter what charitable idea you envision, Baig Foundation's platform will configure itself for maximum support.
